Abdulrahman bin Udais al-balawi was one of those who gave his allegiance (to the prophet) under the tree. I.e. he was a sahabi (companion)
Abdulrahman bin Udais al-balawi participated in the killing of uthman.
What we see is the sunni scholars call this guy "the fountain head of decent" (Fitnah). Yet when it comes to Aisha, Talha, Zubair then they say "they interpreted the law and were mistaken", "they get one reward for erroniusly interpreting the law, and Ali gets 2 rewards for being right". Well, why isn't Abdulrahman bin Udais also among those who mis-interprets the law and then rewarded. Why is he called the fountain head of Fitnah instead.
There is a double standard here, and that is if you fight or go against Ali
Although Aisha did all those bad things of killing the treasurers of basra, torturing Uthan ibn Hunnaif and causing the deaths of thousands of muslims. people still regard her very high. But for the man who fought Uthman the 3rd Caliph, although he is one of the sahaba. The sunni scholars disallow narrating hadith from him
why such double standards?
