Aisha's Terror

First: The example of Nuh and Lut (AS) wives was to demonstrate that marriage relations don't vaccinate a wife against deviating and going astray. We can ask the same question of why if the wives of Nuh and Lut (as) were evil women, they didn't divorce them and save the trouble? That is because Allah (swt) did not order them to divorce. Likewise Allah (swt) did not order the prophet pbuh.gif to divorce Aisha.

Second: According to the sunni understanding surah 33 al-ahzab was revealed before surah 66 by about 3-4 years

Third: Aisha, is not part of the members of the household, that is because the members of the household have had all abominations removed from them and are pure and spotless. Sin, plotting and conspiring against the prophet, disobeying Allah, torturing innocent muslims, and killing innocent souls, these are all abominations, even if we say it was done by mistake, it is a spot against them.
So, either the definition of being pure and spotless is wrong or Aisha was not a member of the household. These two are mutually exclusive and are not reconcilable.

Fourth: As for why the prophet pbuh did not divorce, I already answered it in my earlier comment about Ammar Yassir. Aisha was a test to try and test this Ummah to see whether we follow her or Allah. Just as Satan is a test and trial for mankind.

fifth: when the prophet pbuh confronted Aisha about her plot, she remarked "who told you?", this seems like a very rudimentary question coming from a person whom we are supposedly commanded to learn half of our religion from. It is obvious to anyone who believed in Muhammad's pbuh message from the first revelation Quran (96 : 1 )that he receives his revelation from the Angel Gabriel. If Aisha had believed in the prophet and the message she wouldn't ask this question. The question begs, what is it that prompted Aisha to ask him "who told you?" Was she not aware Allah reveals to him through Gabriel? or did she not believe in his prophethood altogether? or there may be another explanation I'd love to hear it.

Sixth: Read the history of Aisha's arrival at Basra and how she ordered the brutal massacre of the treasurers and the horrifying torture of Uthman ibn Huhaif the companion of the prophet and it becomes clear she is no pure and spotless person, and surly can not be chocked up to a mistake. Nobody orders torture and killing of innocents by mistake. Especially the mother of believers, the one whom we supposedly are to learn half of our religion from.

the historical records for your review below:

The army of Aisha approached Basra and surrounded the city, Uthman ibn Huhaif was Ali's (as) representative in Basra. When Aisha's army entered the city they ordered Uthman ibn Huhaif to revoke his allegiance to Ali and join their ranks. Uthman refused, so after a lot of going back and forth, they agreed to keep things as they are. Uthman ibn Hunaif to remain the ruler in Basra, and Aisha's army to remain as well until Ali ibn Abu talib (as) arrives and judges between them. This agreement didn't please Aisha at all and she indicated to Talha and Zubair that she will not accept Uthman Ibn Hunaif to remain in Basra, leading the prayers while he holds the keys to the treasury. Aisha advised them to remove Uthman ibn Hunaif from leading the prayer, kill the guards of the treasury, and to kill whomever assists them. In other words a coup d'état by Aishas authority. After Uthman ibn Hunaif was captured they brought him back to Aisha to decide his fate, she advised they kill him and then changed her mind to have him imprisoned instead.

AlKamil fil Tarikh by Ibn Athir vol.2 Page 309
as quoted from al-eman islamic library --> http://www.al-eman.com/islamlib/viewchp.as...4&CID=41#s1

"...When Uthman was captured, they sent him to Aisha seeking her council in his fate, Aisha remarked kill him!.
A woman said to Aisha, I beseech you by Allah in Uthman and his companionship to the messenger of Allah pbuh.gif. Aisha said to them: Imprison him, then Mujashi' ibn Mas'ood said to them, beat him, and pluck out his beard and eye lashes, they beat him with 40 lashes, and plucked out his beard, and his eye brows, and his eye lashes then they released him and placed abdulrahman ibn abu bakr assidiq as the head of treasury"
QUOTE

What a horrific and terrible thing Aisha permitted to happen to the companion of the prophet Uthman ibn Hunaif (ra), the first case of torture in Islam was legislated by Aisha bint Abu Bakr.

Muruj aldhahab Vol.2 page 358
"..The betrayal of Uthman ibn Huhaif was the first of its kind in Islam, and the killing of the treasury guards was the first from among the muslims to be struck down, they were 120 men.."

"wifayatul a'yaan" vol.3 page 18 we read the following
"...They captured Uthman bin hunaif, Ali's representative in basra and prepared to kill him, he beseeched them by Allah, and reminded them of his companionship to the prophet pbuh, someone instructed to whip him instead, they whiped him, plucked out his beard, the hair on his head even his eyebrows and eye lashes. Afterwards they imprisoned him and killed 50 men who managed the Muslim treasury"

Tarikh Tabari vol.5 page 186
"... then they kicked out Uthman Ibn Hunaif, when he caught up with Ali he said crying: I left you as an old man and I return to you hairless, Ali said: To Allah alone do we belong and to him we return repeating it three times"

What can we say in her defense after reading this?
